Error - Save to zoterro webpage with snapshot appears everywhere

Hi! I am currently experincing an error where every page (amazon, scholar) only loads the "save to zoterro webpage wit snashot" button. I have followed the provided troubleshooter (https://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues) to no avail.

I further tried uninstalling all extensions and reinstalling both zoterro and chrome. It made no difference.

I hope you can help :)

Issue arises on a matebook pro with windows 10 64bit. The issue seems limited to Chrome, as things work fine in Microsoft edge (Chromium based beta version)

Kindle editions — or at least some of them — aren't supported on Amazon. Click on either the Hardcover or the Paperback edition. (I'm not sure of the details here, but someone else might know.)

I'm having the same issue for journal articles. JSTOR and all database results only saving as webpage. Translate isn't helping either. Here is another example of what is being saved only as a webpage: https://onlinelibrary-wiley-com.ezproxy.library.uvic.ca/doi/full/10.1111/j.1523-1739.2005.00279.x

Let’s start with unproxied pages. Do the other Amazon pages work?
