after RTF scan citations come in-line, not as footnotes

edited July 9, 2019
Hello community,

I am a mac user and trying to get footnotes to appear properly after an .rtf output, which I"m opening in Word. I think I have read all the documentation and forum discussions on this topic, but I can't find an answer to this question. I am selecting " display citation a footnote" and then I specify Chicago-full note style. But after I complete the .RTF scan, the citations end up in-line with the body of my text and not as footnotes.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!
Jessica
  • Sorry about that — it looks like footnote styles are broken in RTF Scan in the current version. I've fixed this in the Zotero beta, so you can install that temporarily and switch back to the release version once Zotero 5.0.70 is released.

@jessicabachman: Just to note, this was fixed in Zotero 5.0.70 on July 12th, so if you switched to the beta, you can switch back to the release version now.
