How modify a style slightly

I would like to do a small modification to the Chicago style, but I can't figure out how - I looked at the code in the style editor and just don't find the lines where this is defined, or what I would have to do.

In the Chicago manual style (17th ed), when several items from the same author are listed, only the first one has the author name, then subsequent entries have just dashes, like this:

Gleason, H. A. 1926. „The Individualistic Concept of the Plant Association“. Bulletin of the Torrey Botanical Club 53 (1): 7–26. https://doi.org/10.2307/2479933.
———. 1987. „A Letter from Dr. Gleason“. Brittonia 39 (2): 205–9. https://doi.org/10.2307/2807376.

I would like to change it that the authors are explicitly listed every time. How? thanks!

Open the CSL file, delete subsequent-author-substitute="———", change the style title and ID at the top, save, and install in Zotero.
  • @bwiernik thanks, that did exactly what I wanted!
