I am trying to add reference in zotero from ClinicalTrial.gov. I do not have Endnote so I could not use the approach that someone recommended before. Please help me with this issue.
Currently, full import isn't possible. You can import as a webpage using the Zotero browser button, then change the type to Report and enter the remaining information manually.
Just wondering if it's possible to manually create a citation type? I do meta-analyses and cite clinical trials ALL THE TIME. It would be so great to have a citation type called Clinical Trial.
BTW Zotero is absolutely wonderful and I'm super grateful for it!
No, you can't currently create custom item types, sorry. This may happen in the future, but not any time very soon. (We may still add import from clinicaltrials.gov to a different item type, so that's somewhat unrelated)
@adamsmith @zuphillip clinicaltrials.gov has a pretty clean XML format and a URL scheme that should work for a translator: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/resources/download

I'm new to Zotero so any help is very welcome.
The one question I have now is how do you test the translator on your local machine while developing it?
