deleting citations from Word document

Hello, I've just started using Zotero, so not very familiar with it. I am using Word with Zotero plugin. When I add a citation to my text it automatically appears in the bibliography. But when I delete a citation from the text, it stays in the bibliography until I press refresh. Is that what you would expect - or is there a way of getting the references disappear from the bibliography automatically?

    That's expected. Otherwise Zotero would have to constantly scan the Word document with devastating effects on performance. The bibliography will also update when you insert the next citation.
