Force a longer reference to be named "et al."

Is it possible to force a reference to be called "et al." in the text (not the reference list)?

Here you go. This version of the style will always use et-al, even the first time an item is cited.

Right click on that link, save as and download that .csl file.
Then you can install it via a double click or via Zotero's preferences.

@dstillman Would it be possible for the Zotero connector to detect and offer to install CSL files hosted at raw.githubusercontent.com when the link is clicked, like at the Style Repository?

Dan will have a more complete answer, but the only way I know to make that happen is to serve the CSL files with a content-type header of application/vnd.citationstyles.style+xml. I don't think it's possible to customize the headers applied by the GitHub servers.

We have a ticket for that. This will be hard-coded, so the content type doesn't matter.
