"Ed." not "Eds." for "Edited by" Multiple Parties

In SBL (and Chicago) style, when a single editor is given before or after the title, this editor is accompanied by the abbreviation is "ed." in either case.

When there are multiple editors involved, however:
  1. Listing these before the title should be accompanied by the abbreviation "eds." (= "editors").
  2. Listing these after the title should be accompanied by the abbreviation "ed." (= "edited by").
The CSL implementation for the SBL style is correct on this point in the case of volume-level editors. But when editors are input as series-level, the notation "eds." creeps in where there should be just "ed."

So for example, for the following resource:
TY - BOOK
TI - A Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans
AU - Sanday, William
AU - Headlam, Arthur Cayley
T2 - International Critical Commentary
A2 - Briggs, Charles A.
A2 - Driver, S. R.
A2 - Plummer, Alfred
CY - New York
DA - 1899///
PY - 1899
DP - Google Books
ET - 5th ed.
SP - 606

M1 - 32
PB - Scribner

The note output should be
William Sanday and Arthur Cayley Headlam, A Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans, 5th ed., ICC 32, ed. Charles A. Briggs, S. R. Driver, and Alfred Plummer (New York: Scribner, 1899).
(besides the underlining of course) but it is actually
William Sanday and Arthur Cayley Headlam, A Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans, 5th ed., ICC 32, eds. Charles A. Briggs, S. R. Driver, and Alfred Plummer (New York: Scribner, 1899).
Would it be possible for one of the CSL wizards to remedy this issue? :)

Thank you so much as always!
