an explanation note on a (sub)collection?

I would like to provide my collaborators with a brief explanation about each of the collections and sub-collections. Right now i just use a Standalone Note, but once we add more references that Note can quickly get lost in an ever longer list. Is there a way to make it stick, to remain on top - or perhaps some other way to provide clarification to discrete folders?

    If you sort by the Author column, the standalone note will sort to the top of the list.
