Bibliography does not recognise Scandinavian letters

In the bibliography Zotero mistakes the Swedish letters Å, Ä, Ö for A, A, O and thus authors whose names contains these letters end up in the wrong place. How do I fix this? I have changed "language" in the info-column to Swedish.
