Zotero not opening on the application (Couldn't load XPCOM)

Hi,
I installed yesterday Zotero, but this morning, I can't open it. There is en error message:
XULRunner
Couldn't load XPCOM.

Is anyone know what to do in that case ?

    Generally that happens if you had a very old version of Zotero and an automated upgrade didn't go through properly. I don't believe we've ever seen this for a completely new install, though it's possible that security software could interfere.

    You should uninstall Zotero — your data won't be affected — and then reinstall it from the download page, making sure you're installing Zotero 5.0.

    This has happened to me 5 times in the last 3 months. Every single time I uninstall and reinstall all from scratch, with chrome browser plugin. This needs to be investigated further,

    This isn't a general problem, so if you're seeing it regularly, it might be due to malware or security software on your system interfering with Zotero.

    (This doesn't have anything to do with the Chrome extension.)
