When using Zotero for footnote citations, errors are occurring after the initial use of a citation. The same citation, used second time or more, has error box and says I must choose yes or no to allow the removal or continuance of the citation in text. Also, I use the selection of citations from the 'classic mode.' This used to be a simple matter of opening Zotero, now I must select it for every citation I want to enter a citation.
Thank you for help with these 'situations.'

    1. Could we we get the exact error message for the first issue, please? And which option are you selecting.
    2. You can permanently select the classic add citation dialog under Cite --> Word Processors in the Zotero preferences.
