MLA not giving the date

New user here. When I try to import my citiazions into Word with MLA style it only gives me the author, not the date. I.e (Toury) Instead of (Toury, 2012). When i try it with other styles it apperes fine. Bibliography also appears correct.

    MLA 8th edition in-text citation doesn't require the date.

    (Nor have previous editions -- just using the author for in-text citations is one of the few things MLA has been keeping the same)
