American medical association bibliography citations are incorrect

Mainly, from what I've noted thus far, journal names are not italicized and the first letter of every word is capitalized

The style does both of these things correctly (you can check the preview here: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:american-medical-association )

I'm guessing you're seeing
https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/italics_in_word_bibliographies for italics and
https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/sentence_casing for capitalization.
