Zotero word plug in not showing

Hi,

I have tried what I can but can't get this to show on my home PC (fine on my work PC). I have checked in Zotero cite preferences etc and word is installed. I have tried a manual installation but stupidly can't find the start up folder.

If I click on word adds, zotero file is there (unchecked). If I try and check it it says 'the document template does not exist'.

Can anyone help at all please? I am Word 365 Pro Plus if that helps and the latest version of Zotero. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling just in case.

I don't think we've ever seen that, so I'd suggest removing the .dot/.dotm completely from the Word startup folder, restarting Word and making sure it's gone completely from the list, and then reinstalling from the Cite pane in Zotero.

Thank you so much all. dstillman, that did the trick. Poettli, I had tried all of that but thanks for linking just in case I had not. Can't explain it but it's on my toolbar now (I had to go back and check it in as an add in. It did let me this time without the error message).
