Could Zotero client add a proxy function?

My network is not good, resulting in that it takes much time to sync in my Zotero client. I found that I open the global proxy, the Upload speed is very high. But it's not convenient for always open the global proxy. I wonder if you can add a proxy function like socks, http, etc., in the client?

Zotero uses your system proxy by default. If you want to use different proxy settings, you can configure it using the same settings that you would in Firefox from the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of the preferences.
