When I import a pdf just downloaded from CNKI or copy a DOI to zotero,I will get a problem,which leads a wrong quatation in MS Word.And some DOI can not be recognized.For example,a Chinese paper called "多目标珊瑚岛礁地貌遥感信息提取方法——以西沙永乐环礁为例" can not be imported correctly by .pdf or DOI.

dstillmanIf a PDF can't be recognized and the DOI doesn't work, you'll need to create a parent item yourself, make the PDF a child of that, and then cite the parent item. You can do that either by saving the parent item from the web — e.g., from an article page — using the Save to Zotero button or, if all else fails, manually by right-clicking on the PDF, selecting Create Parent Item, and filling in the details. The latter is rarely necessary. Zotero has a translator for CNKI, so I would expect that you could save from the article page there.
