I am trying to modify an already existing citation style, but I find myself struggling quite a bit. I am currently working with the citation style language ''Cell'', but I would like to have the following categories when citing a report:
Author (Year) Title
On behalf of: XY
Method: XY
Data
Abstract
So I suppose my question is: does anyone know how to properly modify and alter an existing citation style?

I understand that it is possible to change certain things, but as soon as I actually modify something, the system tells me that it is not compatible with the existing framework.
How do I insert a new category? How can I make sure to respect the given framework?
I find myself struggling on the most basic level.
