Change sync & storage

Hi. I originally was afraid that all my content would be too big for the basic storage that Zotero provides for syncing. So I was attempting to store everything in Google Drive. However, now that I need to use a second computer, I would like to move everything in to something that is easier to manage, such as the native Zotero syncing. How can I transition? Also, I still need to be able to use my iPad to read and annotate.
