Empty trash not working in 5.0.63 in Win7 x64

When I right-click on the trash folder, then click on the Empty Trash option, and the confirmation, nothing happens. There is a brief screen-flash but no entries in the trash are removed.

Individual entries can be removed via the Delete Permanently button atop the right-side panel

    Log entries suggest that a file-permissions issue was the cause. Nothing was changed with the exception of installing the Zotero 5.0.63 update over Zotero 5.0.62.

    Nevertheless, resetting the file-permissions in the directories containing Zotero seems to have fixed the problem.
