uninstall google docs plugin
I've installed the google docs plugin (https://www.zotero.org/support/google_docs) though I don't remember how.
In one doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dhMOTlIOC6dOK_jksJRX0CB-GIRoiYY6fWtCnZArUhU/edit#) it causes "Zotero is updating your document, please wait" and freezes the doc for about 15s. This happens on *every* paste.
If I try to insert a citation, it again freezes the doc, always goes through the Document Preferences dialog, then shows a "progress" bar/window for quite a while, then tells me I can't insert a citation there.
In other docs it doesn't freeze the doc but "insert citation" does nothing either.
So I think this plugin is not ready for use. How can I uninstall it? I looked at the plugin sections of Docs, Chrome and Zotero, but cannot find this plugin.

adamsmithLots of people are using the plugin and we're happy to troubleshoot problems with you, but if you want to disable it, right-click on the "Save to Zotero" button in Chrome, select "Options", then "Advanced", and disable Google Docs integration there.

adomasvenYou will see the "Zotero is updating your document, please wait" prompt when you are copying and pasting Zotero citations. This did not work properly before and potentially lead to citations getting disconnected from Zotero and not being updated properly. If you are copying and pasting text from somewhere else, or text that does not include Zotero citations then something is not working right. Could you create a new document in Google Docs and check if you still see this?

RAChapmanThis problem (of freezing) can be solved by closing Zotero (standalone version) and restarting it. Note also that the citation search bar doesn't necessarily appear over your document immediately as it does in Word, for example, but it will appear over your document if you select it in the Zotero icon on your task bar, where it has already appeared.
