Long file path length may cause issues
Issue: I THINK Zotero for Windows could suffer from 260 character path limit for attachments and filename
Priority: Very low. It does NOT affect core functionally of Zotero, but my affect plugins/translators.
Background: On Windows 10, certain applications may not support long path length issue (260 character path limit), despite "LongPathsEnabled" being set to true. https://www.howtogeek.com/266621/how-to-make-windows-10-accept-file-paths-over-260-characters/
Example scenario: I used zotero-file-hierarchy translator to export my Zotero library. The translator resulted in an error when one of the file paths being exported exceeded the 260 character path limit. The issue was resolved when I renamed the PDF file attached to an item with shorter file name. https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-file-hierarchy/issues/2
