Problem with colored tags

There is a student in our university who uses MacOs Mojave 10.14.3 and the colored tags work strangely. Color can be assigned to the tags and the filtering also works but the colored tags DO NOT appear as small colored squares next to items' titles in the center pane. It might be a stupid question but I could not figure if it depends on some settings
that need to be changed. Thanks

Can you/they provide a screenshot that shows 1) the middle pane with the item visible and 2) the right-hand pane with the Tags tab selected and a colored tag in view? You can upload the image somewhere (Dropbox, etc.) and provide a link here or email it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

We'd also want a Report ID.

I have tried everything with the columns to be able to see the Title column but to no avail. Title column can not be added or removed like other columns.

That's weird. Have you tried Restore Column Order in the column picker?

If that doesn't help, close Zotero, go into the Zotero profile directory, and delete xulstore.json, and then restart Zotero. If that doesn't help, close Zotero again, delete xulstore.json again, open prefs.js in a text editor such as TextEdit and delete the line containing "extensions.zotero.pane.persist", and resave the file. (You can also just delete prefs.js if that's easier, but you would need to reconfigure some settings, such as your sync settings.)
