Bug - Opening PDF causes "open with" dialogue every time [Version 5.0.60]

I've opened .pdf files from Zotero at least ten times today and each time it asks me which program I want to use to open the file. This bug appears to limited to Zotero because I haven't experienced the issue with any other programs.

Reinstalling did not help.

What is Zotero set to open PDFs with in the General pane of the Zotero preferences?

"System Default", which is Sumatra.

What happens if you change it to Sumatra directly?

Basically, file handling on Linux is a total mess, and "system default" is a bit of an ambiguous concept. More details here:

You can try to debug all that, but I suspect it will work if you just select Sumatra directly.

This is Windows 10, not Linux. I never had a problem on Linux with the "system default"

Ah, OK. Well, same question: what happens if you set it to Sumatra directly?

Setting it to Sumatra opens Sumatra directly.
