I got raw data from the faculty for meteorology of my university to calculate some mean annual precipitation for our research area. How do I quote it? The guy who sent me is a technician, so do I say "Faculty for Meteorology 2019" or how?

adamsmithIt's always better to provide more detailed information, but if its unclear who actually collected the data, then yes, the organization in charge of it is the best creator to cite.
