APA Reference List (Bibliography) Wrong Indent Format

I'm using APA formatting, but when my References are automatically added to the list in Microsoft Word, the indentation is wrong. It's supposed to have a hanging indent where the first line of the reference is on the left margin and subsequent lines in that reference are indented. What's happening is a typical first line indent with the rest up to the left margin.

I have formatted the Reference page to the correct indentation, but when a citation is imported, the indentation changes. Even if I fix the formatting for those citations, the next time a new reference is added to the list, the entire list reverts back to the incorrect formatting. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Zotero uses Word’s “Bibliography” formatting style to control this. Try to change to a different style and back to reset the Bibliography style to the correct format.
