Upgrade StorageBibliography function disabled after re-opening Word document
Since a few weeks, I've been having a constant problem with Zotero in MS Word 2019. I can insert citations and they are added to my biliography normally. However, when I close the document and re-open it, all quotes are turned into plain text and I cannot refresh or edit the bibliography. I tried to erase the old bibliography and make a new one. But then only those items appear in the bibliography that have been added AFTER re-opening the document.
Also, when hitting the "add / edit bibliography" button, I get the following message:
"Attempting to generate bibliography witout haveing updated prcessor items".
I tried many things, but nothing worked:
1. I deleted and re-installed Zotero Standalone and the Add-in for Word 2019.
2. I copied the Word document into a new one.
3. I manually reased and re-inserted the quotes.
None of these things worked. How can I get the bibliography function to work again properly? Please help!!!

fosreckiI found the problem! The document was saved as an OpenDocument text. I switched to normal .doc format and now the problem is solved!
