Installing Zotero in Ubuntu 18.04
Hi!
I have a new preinstalled Ubuntu 18.04 laptop, and I am new in Gnome environment. Another thing, I don't know basic Linux commands, so I don't understand in some points what the instructions mean.
"--- run the set_launcher_icon script to update the .desktop file for that location, and symlink zotero.desktop into ~/.local/share/applications/ (e.g., ln -s /opt/zotero/zotero.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/zotero.desktop). Zotero should then appear in your launcher."
How can I "run the set_launcher_icon"?
By clicking the file it will only open in text editor.

It's technically a third-party script, but it really just bundles regular Zotero and Emiliano, the maintainer, has been an active community developer for many years.
