Upgrade StorageRich text formatting in titles

Some manuscript titles sometimes contain deleted words.
But, adding html del tag to field does not work.
How is it possible to apply rich text formatting in this case ?

One option could be to enter the word as strikethrough Unicode characters. https://www.piliapp.com/cool-text/strikethrough-text/
It's not very convenient, but it works.
