"could not read text from PDF"

Hi everyone, every time I retrieve metadata for PDF, it shows the message "could not read text for PDF". I have reinstalled zotero for many times and I even uninstalled my security software. I still can retrieve metadata from all my PDF. could anyone help me!

    If this happens for every PDF, this is quite likely still because of some security-related restriction on the system. The PDF tools work in general, so there's not really much we can suggest here. (You can try uninstalling and reinstalling Zotero, but that almost never accomplishes anything.)
