openoffice: how to tell which version of the zotero plugin is installed

Hi,

I'm not sure whether I have the latest version of the zotero plugin installed in openoffice, and would like to verify that somehow. Anyone have a clue?

(rather than just installing the latest version which I _might_ have already installed again...)

Further, it would be nice if the extension could be updated like a normal firefox extension by hitting the "update" button in openoffice, rather than manually plowing through the process.

Even further, I would appreciate if a version history (including dates / times, as appropriate) would be published on http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation - see mozilla firefox as a particularly praiseworthy example...

to find out if you have the latest version: Tools -> Extension Manager -> Check the version number there against the one of the most recent update.

In theory one should also be able to update the extension there - but I don't think the Zt. plugin is posted to the relevant repositories, or is it?

The 2.0a2 OO plugin already points to zotero.org to check for updates. We just haven't put an update manifest on the server yet.

v. 2.0a2 (for the Zotero 2 beta) shows the version. I do not believe the extension for 1.0 shows it.
