Zotfile extracted annotations citation style

Hi there,
LOVE Zotero & Zotfile!
Is there a way to change the citation style used for the PDF annotations extracted by Zotfile?
Currently (Author YEAR:page)

No, sorry, ZotFile's "citation" format can't be customized with any reasonable effort (i.e. short of modifying ZotFile source code).

Is there any possibility that the citation-style option will be added? it would be a really great feature!

I have adapted Zotfile 5.0.16 to produce APA output here:
