Upgrade StorageChicago Manual of Style 17th edition style template for non-journal website with articles?
My platform vendor is recommending use of Chicago author-date (17th edition) template for a non-journal website that contains encyclopedia articles.
I am arguing against this template because IMHO (1) there should be no italic styling applied in the CMOS17 citation because the product is a website, not a journal; and (2) per CMOS 15.50 (Websites and access dates in author-date format), "for sources that include a date of publication or revision, use the year of publication in the reference list entry. Repeat the year with the month and day to avoid any confusion."
However, we cannot locate a template that fits the above requirements.
Does anyone know if such a template exists in the Zotero style repository?
