New to Zotero and I'm having issues with Zotero Connector

Hi,

I have just installed Zotero and the Connector for Chrome. When I click on the icon on Chrome nothing happens (although interestingly it will work when I click the button on the actual Zotero website, just not on anything I want to cite).

The issue ID is 1178968715.

So far I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling the Chrome extension but this has not worked. The version is 5.0.53. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Can anyone suggest anything?
