In-text citations double when changing citations format

Hi,

I have been using Zotero for a couple of years, and I have never had this issue, but I recently updated to the newest version of Word.

I was working on a document. Upon completition, I had to switch citation styles (from ASA to SAGE Harvard). When I did this, it doubled all of my in-text citations. Does anyone know how to fix this?

My Bug ID number is:
D727916479

Thanks,
Nathalie
  • In Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors reinstall the word plugin. Afterwards revert to an earlier version of the document and try again. If you've inserted any citations with Zotero after updating Word it is likely that those might still duplicate. You will need to manually remove them completely (make sure you remove one character before and after the broken ones) and reinsert.

Zotero updates the Word plugin automatically unless you had moved or lost your Zotero profile folder at some point in the past.
