Can it be installed on own server?
Hello,
I am using Zotero for long time. I have used it for my master thesis and now I am using it in my PhD. I propose to my research group to get Zotero for our group. The idea is to buy the unlimited storage and make different project groups and give access to the related PhD students. And whenever we get master/bachelor thesis students we will give them access to use it. However, my Professor ask me do we can install it ion our own server?
It would be nice if I can get some information about it. May be any research group is using this way, can you please share your experience. Any kind of suggestions and advice is welcome.
Thank you
Jakirullah

dstillmanThe server-side code is open source, and some labs have managed to get it working locally, but doing so is extremely difficult — with, by this point, many different microservices to support various functionality (e.g., PDF metadata recognition) — and we don't provide any support for it. That may change in the future.
