Deleting PDFs from computer

My computer is running out of storage from all the documents and pdfs I have saved. If I delete the PDFs from my computer, will they also be deleted from my zotero account/app?

if you delete them via your file manager they will _not_ be deleted from the Zotero account online (note, though, that the "Zotero app" uses local storage)
