Upgrade Storageproxy authentication dialog not modal

unfortunately, the proxy authentication dialog normally shown on startup goes in about 50% of the time into the background. Is it possible to make them modal?
Also, how to save the credentials? signon.autologin.proxy is set to true, but nothing is remembered. Meanwhile Firefox even supports automatic authentication and does not prompt for credentials. It would be nice if zotero supports this too.
