tag items in a collection all at once
Hi, I searched for 'tags' in the 'search forums' field, but could not find a discussion regarding the topic about which I am currently writing about. If this has already been resolved, I apologize for not having been able to locate the correct thread.
I'm relatively new, and have studied the documentation. The tag feature seems really useful and I'm trying to make the most of it, especially, since tags, but not collections are retained during library export from what I understand. So my question is, if I were to send a set references from 'My Library' to a new collection named 'HPV' for papers that discuss HPV for example, is there a way to tag all of those references in the new 'HPV' collection with an 'hpv' tag? I know I could do each one-by-one with the right-pane tag>'add' button, but for a large set of papers, is there a way to add the same tag to each record in the collection all at once?
Thanks.

bwiernikYou can select all of the items in a collection, then drag them to the tag in the tag selector pane to add the tag to all selected items. You can also assign a tag as a colored tag, then select the items and type the tag's number to assign/remove the tag. https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags#colored_tags
