Google Docs, Word, and Zotero
As far as I can tell, references in google docs (using the zotero plugin) become unlinked when you transfer them into word and vice versa. With collaboration done on docs and then downloaded into Word for final edits, is there an easy workaround to re-link the references after transferring? At the moment the only solution seems to be to re-link every citation by hand which could be very time consuming for large documents.
Any pointers would be really helpful!
Also, does anyone know what part of the process means the references can't remain linked? Is it in the way Docs converts to .docx or is it that the zotero links themselves are different between the two programmes or that the way the programmes read links is different?
Thanks in advance for your help!

adamsmithThere currently is no reasonable workaround I'm afraid -- Zotero says they're working on a solution that will work across all supported word processors, though. No idea when that will land. It's the latter part that I bolded.

alex.rThanks for your help, re-linking every citation will just have to do for now!
