Zotero blows up... repeatibily

Latest version of Zotero, Windows 10 on a PC. Latest version of Firefox for browser.
  • What do you mean by "Zotero blows up"?
Note open note now has "double numbers" for items in list.
Not sure what you mean here, but I don't think I'm see that. Can you take a screenshot (or, even better, a screen recording), upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox), and provide a link here?

Sorry wasn't trying to be obtuse. When I said "Zotero blows up" I meant that Zotero halts with a fatal error and says that Zotero must be restarted.

Don't have a Dropbox account but I'll create one and post a link to the image.

Not sure what you mean by a "screen recording." This problem was on my PC version. Don't know to do anything other than take an image.
  • Ok, I think I have it. Never used Dropbox before.

    Link to pictures.

    zotero#1.jpg

Shows Zotero after pasting the text into the RTF editor field. Notice that in upper right of edit field that #1 is duplicated. (I've have pasted where all the numbers were duplicated...)

    zotero#2.jpg

Shows the opened separate edit window.

    zotero#3.jpg

Shows what I select. Selected to end of file which can't be seen.

Notice that "Numbered List" icon in editor is activated.

-> Now click on "Numbered List" icon for text editor, which should remove the numbering.

    KABOOM!!!

    zotero#5.jpg

After restarting Zotero. Now able to fix rest of the file...

  • I was able to reproduce this, and I believe it's fixed in the latest Zotero beta.
