Extracting Annotations from PDFs

The new zotero updates will not allow me to extract annotations from PDFs. The 5.09 version is not amenable. Please provide the compatible format.

    Extracting annotations is part of the Zotfile plugin. Do you have that installed?

    Just in case you need help on how:

    Download the .xpi file. Then, in Zotero, go to Tools > Add-ons > Settings (gear symbol in top-right) > Install Add-on From File > Point to the .xpi file you downloaded

    Thank you, Gurdas. Upon an attempt to upload, I receive the following message. The message then leads me to the Mac App store, but I am not sure what I need to download.
    "There is no application set to open the document “zotfile-5.0.9-fx (3).xpi”.

    Can you please provide any guidance or directions as to what I should do next?

    I got it! The directions were perfect. I did a test-run with a bad file. Thank you!
