Unfortunately for styles requiring journal titles to be abbreviated ZoteroBib doesn't seem to work properly if you copy and paste DOIs. It seems to work only with PMIDs.
What’s happening is that PubMed supplies the journal abbreviations automatically, whereas CrossRef and other DOI resolvers don’t fill that field in. You can manually edit the Journal Abbr field for items you add by DOI.
@dstillman Would it be possible to add support for the automatic Medline abbreviation in ZBib or to fill in the journal abbreviation field for items using the Medline list?
