When I move a second citation ahead of the first, it doesn't change
I've been using Zotero for years on a Windows computer with Word and have not had this problem until recently. When I put in a footnote the first time, it gives me the full citation and the second footnote gets the short version. All fine. But when I move the second footnote ahead of the first, the citation doesn't change to the necessary full publication information. It stays as the short version. I have saved and closed the document and then reopened, but it is still incorrect.

bwiernikClick the Refresh button in the Zotero tab or insert/edit a citation to refresh the document.

LWitternThat sure is easy! It's been a while since I've used Zotero and I didn't notice that the "refresh" had been added. Thanks so much for answering what must seem like such a dumb question! And so quickly, too. I am grateful.

dstillman(Refresh has always existed. There's no other way for Zotero to know it needs to update citations after you move them around in the text.)
