Created new Collection, now can't return to master library

Ubuntu 18.04, Zotero updated today 5.0.57 otherwise vanilla install, but I created a new collection today, and now I can't see how to get back to the master collection. I am "stuck" inside an empty collection, and no amount of right clicking or menu selection seems to take me back to the master library with its several thousand entries. What am I missing?

    Sounds like you minimized the collection pane on the left? Simply expand it by clicking and dragging at the left of the screen.
