DOIs not being generated in bibliography in Microsoft Word
Please help me format the bibliography in Microsoft Word (via Zotero plugin) to include the DOI for each article. Presently, it includes the DOI as a web URL.
For example: (This is what it currently looks like)
Zilcha-Mano, S. (2017). Is the alliance really therapeutic? Revisiting this question in light of recent methodological advances. American Psychologist, 72(4), 311–325. https://doi.org/10.1037/a0040435
This is what I'd like it to look like:
Zilcha-Mano, S. (2017). Is the alliance really therapeutic? Revisiting this question in light of recent methodological advances. American Psychologist, 72(4), 311–325. doi:10.1037/a0040435
For example: (This is what it currently looks like)
Zilcha-Mano, S. (2017). Is the alliance really therapeutic? Revisiting this question in light of recent methodological advances. American Psychologist, 72(4), 311–325. https://doi.org/10.1037/a0040435
This is what I'd like it to look like:
Zilcha-Mano, S. (2017). Is the alliance really therapeutic? Revisiting this question in light of recent methodological advances. American Psychologist, 72(4), 311–325. doi:10.1037/a0040435

If you really want to have the old, outdated, strongly not recommended DOI format, then see https://www.zotero.org/styles/apa-old-doi-prefix
But again, current APA style is to format DOIs as URLs, not use the confusing "doi:" prefix.
