Pop-up Menu for User Defined Tags
I have just started using Zotero, and ultimately hope to do so with the networked version with my group. Once you click "save to Zotero", is it possible to have a pop-up menu come up with a set of user defined tags which can be clicked if the user finds that the tags apply? Then the document is appropriately tagged from the get go. For example, if my group has 3 main project areas (Factor 13, Cardiac Ischemia, Limb Ischemia), I would like the articles tagged by project area. If the option doesn't apply, then no option would be chosen and the item would not be tagged. It would be good to have as many pre-set user tags on the pop-up menu as the group would like to have. For group use, I think this feature would really help.

noksagtFor your use case, you might consider making three collections for the project areas. Zotero will add the reference to the collection that is currently selected.

RSandhuYes, I have been doing it with the folder structure. When there are lots of subfolders, it becomes a bit more cumbersome; you end up with lots of nested folders, with repeated structures. I just thought it would be nice to have a pop-up screen with tag tick boxes. Then, you see all possible pre-defined tags all at once. Anyway, I just thought it would be a nice to have.
