Upgrade StorageCitation order and reference in Zotero folders odrder

It seems that the references in Zotero folders are listed in alphabetic order.
When I started writing my document, and when inserting the first citation, the numbering starts form [1] not [9], but actually I am citing the 9th reference.
Is there a way to make citation numbering consistent with the reference order in zotero?

adamsmithCitation numbering is always respective to the document you're citing in -- the order in Zotero has no impact at all and that can't be done. Most numeric styles are by order of appearance, but there are others that are alphabetical -- is that what you're after?
