Import Windows repertory architecture in Zotero

Hello,

I need to transfer all my Windows bibliography to Zotero. In Windows, I have a lot of different repertories, a little bit as Zotero collections. Each of them corresponds to a different projet. That's why I would like keep this architecture in my Zotero collections. Do you know if a way to import a repertory architecture does exist ?

    You can't import existing folder architecture into Zotero, no. Only way is to replicate the architecture with Zotero collections and then transfer from the folders into collections one by one.

    It's gonna be very long ... maybe the "link" between a collection and a pdf can be imported ?

    I imagine a three-step program :
    - I do my collection architecture one by one
    - I import all my pdf
    - I import a csv file with a list of link collection/documents

    Do you think there is some opportunities for this ?

    Theoretically possible? -- probably yes.
    Is this something that's going to be possible in Zotero any time soon or could be done with minimal ammounts of scripting? -- no.
