Filename and pdf extensions
In macOS you can simply remove file extension without changing the file type. For instance, I always remove ".pdf" from end of my articles name to be more focus on the title of the publications. However, Zotero renames the attachment it does include the file extension, even when I change/remove the value of "extensions.zotero.autoRenameFiles.fileTypes" under Advanced -> General -> Config Editor.
Is there solution to that? In another words:
Zotero do the renaming in this way (by the way, I had customized it):
"1937, Coase.pdf"
But I wanted the name only as:
"1937, Coase"
Thank you in advance for your considerations and replies.

bwiernikThat really isn't a good idea to remove file extensions themselves on a Mac, as that could eventually lead to your computer not knowing what program to open a file with (e.g., if you move to new computer, or try to transfer the file to a Windows computer). If you don't want to see file extensions, you should simply disable displaying them system wide: https://www.techradar.com/how-to/computing/apple/how-to-show-or-hide-file-extensions-in-mac-os-x-1295830
