    Ctrl-Shift-S in Firefox ceased saving files: it now opens a sort of debugger-pane on the bottom of FF. I guess the connector shortcut is overruled by a Firefox shortcut. Is there a way to solve this?

    The person in that thread was actually seeing Zotero override the Debugger shortcut. I'm not sure if that's changed since Firefox 57 or if it's somewhat random which one gets precedence. In any case, the fix here will be for Mozilla to 1) allow WebExtensions to reliably override built-in shortcuts and 2) provide a UI to adjust shortcuts.
